Most of the web designers give a lot of attention to two main factors while designing a website, the design and the content. But, what about the colors? Unfortunately, they don’t know how important it is to scheme the right colors for their websites. They ignore this most important thing just like that. The colors of your website should give the mood and feel of the site that it is meant for. You need to be creative enough to think the colors that can define your site by its very look. A good color scheming brings up identity and brand image. Colors are very effective on human mind as compared to text. A very good content of your site may not attract your visitors and they may skip it just because they the very first look and feel of it are not attractive.
Color is symbolism. We represent Red with anger; Black as night or as “”evil”"; Black and white together for mourning and cheerless occasions. Brown represents hearth, home, the outdoors, comfort, endurance, comfort and simplicity, the color of gold associated with royalty. Green can represent nature, youth, vigor, jealousy and misfortune. Orange symbolizes energy, balance, warmth. The color pink shows childish innocence or a child like characters. And the list goes further.
Colors ignite our insight. They can inspire our appetite. Colors can make us excited, happy, angry or sad. So, how these colors affect our website visitors is a crucial thing to be learnt. We need to learn to discover different color combinations to apply to your Web site.
Need not be a blind follower of a few websites you have come across. To achieve the leading curve over others you always have to think innovatively. Who knows, a color scheme thought and brought by you can be a massive audience puller and attract the world at large falling in love with your site’s look and feel. One thing to be kept in mind; mere color schemes cannot survive for too long if the content is inferior. The bottom line is that your color scheme innovations and tactics bring success to you if only your content is good. The combination of both content and color scheme is the key to your website’s success.
